Intentional Success Key Leaders Academy is a 6-month long course consisting of monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 9:30am until Noon at the Holiday Inn Albany Airport, located at 400 Old Loudon Road in Latham.

About This Program

This program was specifically developed for emerging key leaders (non-owners) in business.

The fundamentals taught and practiced during the six-month course were taken from the world’s leading leadership coaches (Covey and Maxwell, specifically), as well as material used in Officer training programs throughout the United States military (all branches), along with 29 y ears of business ownership experience.

This program is not simply leadership theory. Participants will learn specifically how leadership traits, skills, fundamentals, and characteristics are applied in business. Additionally, participants will learn how to immediately implement this knowledge in their work and get results.

As an added benefit, this is a great opportunity for leaders in your company to build a network of like-minded professionals from other industries across the Capital Region. Iron sharpens iron!

Qualifications

To qualify for this program, candidates must already be in a management (leadership) position at your company.

Candidates must be committed to their own personal and professional development and have an honest desire to become a stronger leader in business and in life.

DISC Behavioral Styles (For self-mastery and effective communication)

At the end of this session, key leaders will:

1. Understand the four distinct behavioral styles and the strengths/weaknesses of each style.

2. Have an awareness of their own styles and how overusing their strengths will lead to weaknesses.

3. Be able to identify other people’s behavioral styles and understand how to more effectively communicate and influence them based on their styles.

At the end of this session, the learning that has taken place over the past six months will be reinforced. As part of that reinforcement, the “mistakes” made when the fundamentals are not followed will be identified and discussed. Key leaders will leave this final session with the skills and confidence to bring their leadership to a high-level. They will also leave with strategies, tools, and resources so they can continue to develop their leadership skills and abilities on their own.

Cost of the Program

  • This program requires a full, six-month commitment.

  • The cost of this program is $260 per month for the first person from your company, and $190 per person for each person thereafter.

ABOUT
JON DENNEY

Jon has firsthand experience in starting, buying, scaling, diversifying, expanding, and selling companies. Over the past 28 years, Jon has started three different multi-million-dollar companies, purchased one existing company, and sold three of his companies.

In 2007, Jon became a Certified Professional Business Coach. In 2016, Jon earned his Master Professional Business Coach certification. Jon is past president of the Professional Business Coaches Alliance (PBCA). The PBCA is an alliance of top business coaches worldwide.

Jon is founder and president of Capital Region Business Owners (CRBO), the premier business owner networking group in the Capital Region.

Any experienced business owner will tell you that the number one determinant in a company’s ability to scale in size, profitability, and value is fielding a strong leadership team to help run and grow the company.

Yet, several of these business owners aren’t intentionally developing the emerging leaders within their companies. Instead, they count on leadership development through “experience and osmosis.” That’s a huge, missed opportunity.
